[ Ten nods along, seeming to be focused very intensely on the words Haru is saying. He's always keen to learn new things, particularly about land dwellers. It's not that he's ever really been discouraged from learning about what goes on outside the world he lives in, but most people where he's from are pretty content not to ask questions about it.
So he's not most people. ]
Do you like to dance? [ he asks, then hits his closed fist against his palm. ] Maybe that's one of the questions!
I know some others though, let's see. [ He taps his chin. ] I guess the first one was, 'who's making that beautiful music?' And you've kinda answered that one, haven't you? I'd definitely like to know more!
How are you connected to the earth? Or, wait, mother earth?
[ dancing and music in general meant a lot to haru and he could not imagine living without either. fauns needed the reaction, the attention or they suffered from the lack of it. all those of magical blood 'fed' somehow, after all. ]
I do love to dance! [ haru responded, excited. ] Do you? [ sea dwellers couldn't really dance, could they? maybe more like twirl and swish, which still counted in haru's eyes. ]
[ beautiful music? a blush stained his cheeks and he said a very soft but pleased 'thank you.' how nice of ten to say!
as of the mother earth part, his eyes looked around until they fell onto some nearby grass. he twisted his wrist and it not only grew higher but sprouted flowers everywhere, making it look somewhat like a tiny garden. ] Kind of like that! But that's just an extent of it.
[ Ten's definitely a good one to be giving a reaction. He's got wide eyes and gasps and applause at hand all the time. He's attentive and eager in all the ways you might want a captive audience member to be. ]
Oh, yeah! I love it! I think it's kind of different in the water than it is for land dwellers, but we love dancing and music where I live. [ He laughs and waves his arms around a little in a sort of demonstration. ] It's really different on land.
But it's all about rhythm, right? [ He's going to explain more, but gets very, very quickly distracted when Haru makes the grass grow and flower. ]
Wow! That's amazing. [ Dropping to eye level with the growth, he practically goes cross-eyed looking at it. ]
How incredible. That's a strong connection, for sure!
I'm still new to learning! [ haru explained with a tiny shrug of his shoulder. ] Elders can do a much better job and create more of what isn't actually there. I kind of just whispered to what already existed to make it come out.
[ it might not make much sense still but he hoped ten understood what he meant with it all. ]
Doesn't music sound much different underwater? [ clearly, he spent very little time within water during the course of his life. ] I've only been in water to bathe, I've never gone like ....under it?
[ giving a bright smile, he nudged at ten gently. ] What all can you do! I'd love to know.
